St. Augustine

Last week we went up to St. Augustine for a family reunion. We had such a fun time. We went to the beach every day and the pool every night. We also went to the Castillo de San Marco. It was fun, but way too hot. It's those kind of hot days that make me hate living in Florida!!!

Kafe Kokopelli

There is a local restaurant here that we love...Kafe Kokopelli. They have the best French Baguettes ever! They also have the best Sangria I have ever had in my life! But, the best thing on their menu is the Belgian Waffle a la mode. You can make it any way you want. We went to dinner Friday night and ordered one. This was Ally's first waffle from there. We ordered it with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, caramel sauce and whipped cream. The look on Ally's face when it came out was priceless. After a few bites she leans over to me and says "Mommy, this is how I need you to make my waffles for breakfast!". My husband and I about died, it was so funny!!!

I've been meaning to write down some of the silly things Ally says and does.

Her favorite right now is "You're gonna get fired"...she says this whenever she is mad at us. Like she can fire us from being her parents. Don't ask me where she heard this phrase from?? I guess she will be the new Donald Trump :)

Another one she says if she's mad is "You are not invited to my birthday party anymore" I keep telling her she's going to un-invite everyone and there will be nobody there but her. FYI her birthday isn't until November!!!

She can sing all the lyrics from Boom Boom Pow, That's Not My Name and Halo. She loves music and learns the songs very quickly! She also likes to watch the videos and dance to them. I can't wait for her to start ballet in January. I think she will be a natural.
